Fort Washington, PA (February 26, 2016) – On Sunday, February 28, 2016, local citizens will band together to provide an evening of delicious food, services, warmth and brotherly love for the homeless of Philadelphia. Pop-Up for Homeless goes live at 4:30pm until around 7:30pm at The Armory, 22 S 23rd Street.

It all started with an idea by JasonPinardo to remind those in need that they are not invisible and to encourage them. Due to a successfulGoFundMe campaign earlier this month, his idea is now a reality.

In addition to the unique dining experience, guests will be gifted with much-needed toiletries and the opportunity to connect with local agencies and organizations for support.

The employees of GLOBO, a leading language technology and services provider in Fort Washington, fell in love with Pinardo’s idea and immediately participated in the GoFundMe campaign. They will also volunteer at the event and work tirelessly to give the guests a remarkable evening.

“Giving back is an integral part of who we are and what we believe in,” said Gene Schriver, founder and CEO of GLOBO. “Our employees thrive when serving others in our community. The Philadelphia pop-up event is a unique opportunity for us to help others rebuild their lives one step, one meal, at a time.”

Pop-Up for Homeless is quickly evolving into a powerful initiative, and any support is appreciated.  Donations can be made at:
