This GLOBO HQ Portal minor release includes foundational work for coordinated services, reporting, and account administration features. These enhancements are in preparation for increased functionality in future releases.

This GLOBO HQ Portal release offers improvements to account administration, coordinated services, and reporting features. Updates include: 

  • Account Administration. The invoicing process has been improved to eliminate the need for manual changes, which will benefit GLOBO customers by making the invoice process faster and more efficient.
    Which users will be impacted: Account Administrators
  • Company Management. Minor improvements have been made on the Company Management tab in preparation for additional functionality in future releases. Stay tuned!

  • New Integration for Coordinated Services. Improvements to coordinated services procedures allow for a more streamlined internal process for scheduling on-site appointments.

  • Reporting. Technical updates to internal reporting metrics in GLOBO HQ will improve customer reporting capabilities.

GLOBO HQ Portal Release 2.0.7.1

Launched on January 18, 2024

This GLOBO HQ Portal minor release includes enhancements to our invoice process to further increase efficiency. These enhancements include new measures to ensure invoice attachment accuracy and expanding our "per encounter rule" to filter by language.

 

GLOBO HQ Portal Release 2.0.7

Launched on January 4, 2024

This GLOBO HQ Portal release offers incremental improvements to account administration, coordinated services, and engineering features. Updates include:

  • Limited Scheduled Call and On-Site User. When creating new users, you’ll notice that you can limit users' access so they only view and edit the Scheduled Calls and On-Site Appointments created by them. To access this feature, please contact your customer success manager.
  • Service Users for On-Site and Scheduled Calls. Now you can manage your On-Site and Scheduled Calls service line access by user. For example, if you have several locations and want to limit access based on the user’s location. To access this feature, please contact your customer success manager.
  • Translations API Update. Improvements to enable GLOBO project managers to work more efficiently.
  • Continuous Stability and Security Updates. This includes incremental HTML enhancements. 

 

GLOBO HQ for Mobile iOS Release 1.7.1

This GLOBO HQ for iOS minor release includes technical updates to improve video connections if network latency is encountered during the interpreting session.

GLOBO HQ for Mobile iOS Release 1.7.0

Launched on December 13, 2023

This GLOBO HQ iOS release offers features improvements to the user interface and engineering features. Updates include:

  • New User Interface. Introducing our new high-contrast user interface, which offers improved accessibility. The refreshed app layout and functionality provide an enhanced user experience for our iOS app users. 
  • Scaling and Reliability (Multiregion). This new feature provides an additional layer to our business continuity and disaster recovery program to improve our high availability.

GLOBO HQ Portal Release 2.0.6

Launched on November 30, 2023

This GLOBO HQ Portal release offers incremental improvements to account setup, video call reports data, and linguist management. Updates include:

  • Multiple Company Roles: We've added a new feature that allows you to add multiple company roles at once when creating new company users, making the process more efficient and saving you time.
  • Video Call Reports Data: For our VRI customers, we've expanded intake data so all fields can be viewed on the "Video Call Reports" page. This ensures you have access to all the information you need when you need it most.
  • Linguist Management: Our ongoing improvements to the Linguist Management Dashboard allow for increased efficiency and improved experiences for linguists and GLOBO’s quality assurance team. Features released in 2.0.6 are foundational work for the upcoming launch of GLOBO GO, an app designed for our linguists.  🎉🎉🎉

This GLOBO HQ Portal release offers incremental improvements to the portal dashboard, scheduled services, linguist management, and account administration. Updates include: 

  • New GLOBO HQ Portal Dashboard. Our new Portal Dashboard offers enhanced accessibility through updated UI features and improved screen reader support.
  • Scheduled Services. New improvements to our scheduled services internal workflow are designed to increase efficiency to help you get the services you need quickly and easily.
  • Account Administration. Ongoing efforts to streamline our account administration workflow include integrating new configurations to optimize our billing process.
  • Linguist Management. Improvements to our linguist management dashboard allow for increased efficiency and improved experiences for linguists and GLOBO's quality assurance team.

This GLOBO HQ Portal release offers incremental improvements to the client dashboard, account administration and engineering features. Updates include: 

  • Client Dashboard. Improvements to VRI dashboard and video call reports include new search and export features, providing enhanced insights and experience for call review and VRI usage reports. 
  • Account Administration. Continuous improvements to our account administration workflow enhance the configuration and efficiency of our billing process.
  • Connection API. New enhancement to GLOBO's Connections API provides a more streamlined data intake process. This feature allows users to customize the user interface based on question type and retrieve all possible allowed answers, ensuring data consistency.

This GLOBO HQ Portal release offers improvements to scheduled call protocols and billing and data features. Updates include:

  • Scheduled Calls. If the scheduled call information needs to be updated after an interpreter has been assigned to an appointment, the portal will prompt users to cancel and create a new scheduled call. This feature was designed to enhance the scheduled call experience and avoid confusion with interpreters.
  • Billing & Data. Internal improvements to billing and data features provide a streamlined process for invoice format and enhanced data insights.

GLOBO HQ Portal Release 2.0.0

This GLOBO HQ Portal release offers streamlined improvements, such as access to Single Sign On,  and ongoing enhancements to billing and security features. Updates include:

  • Single Sign On/Okta/Auth0 Integration. Powered by Auth0’s Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) platform, users can safely access GLOBO HQ through the same system you use to authenticate elsewhere. To get started configuring single sign on, please reach out to your customer success manager, who will schedule an implementation call with our technical team.
  • Warm Call Transfer between Agent and Interpreters. Implementing the ability for GLOBO Agents to communicate with interpreters before transferring a telephone interpreting call to them.

 

GLOBO HQ for Android Release 1.3.0

Launched on May 10, 2023

This Android release offers features that improve the experience at the point of access, including the ability to configure Single Sign On, so providers don’t need to remember a separate set of credentials. All devices using the GLOBO HQ Android app will be required to update their app in order to continue to use the GLOBO app. Updates include:

  • Single Sign On Access GLOBO HQ with the same system you use to authenticate elsewhere. To get started configuring single sign on, please reach out to your customer success manager who will schedule an implementation call with our technical team.
  • Portrait Mode. We no longer force landscape orientation when making Audio and Video calls.

 

GLOBO HQ Portal Release 1.9.9.4

Launched on May 4, 2023

This GLOBO HQ Portal minor release offers enhancements to our platform and key improvements to data and insights reporting features. Updates include:

  • Virtual Backgrounds for VRI. Create a consistent user experience with virtual backgrounds.  GLOBO spoken-language video interpreters can now join calls with a standard virtual background. Custom backgrounds may be configured by customer. To add a custom background, reach out to your customer success manager.
  • Translation & Localization Project Efficiencies. GLOBO Translation Project Managers will receive email communications for project updates, allowing for more seamless project communications.

 

GLOBO HQ for Mobile iOS Release 1.4.0

Launched on May 1, 2023

  • Device IDs. When installing GLOBO HQ on an iOS device using an MDM, a Device ID that will be included on all requests can be set.
  • Barcode Scanner. Simple barcode scanner which supports scanning plain text barcodes in as intake values. This feature requires implementation based on barcode-specific parameters by client.
