Set a new record for languages serviced

GLOBO linguists went above and beyond in 2022 to help users communicate in over 437 different languages and dialects.

Achieved <10 second connect times

GLOBO is dedicated to providing the fastest connection speeds in the industry. This year we broke a new record with single-digit connect times for Spanish telephone interpreting.

Most Requested Languages

Spanish, Mandarin, and Vietnamese

Spanish was the most requested language for telephone interpreting, followed by Mandarin and Vietnamese.

Service Levels

Increased VRI Service

In 2022, we saw an increase in video remote interpreting (VRI) usage. Additionally, telephone interpreting grew 10% over the past year.

American Sign Language

#2 Most Requested VRI Language

Aside from Spanish, American Sign Language was the language most requested by our users in 2022.

Additionally. GLOBO expanded professional development opportunities at two universities for aspiring ASL interpreters.

Expanding Our Reach

Now servicing 1,200 healthcare facilities

In 2022, we onboarded several new healthcare organizations, including Jefferson Health, UVA Health, and more.

2022 was a year filled with growth. We expanded our team by onboarding  38 new corporate employees.

Certifications & Awards

This year, GLOBO obtained the internationally-recognized ISO 27001:2013 certification, ensuring the organization is held to the highest standards for data protection.

We were also recognized by CSA Research as a top language service provider specializing in Interpreting (#6), On-Site Interpreting (#1), and Remote Interpreting (#6).

Corporate Achievements

New Family Leave Policy

We launched a new paid family leave policy benefiting full-time and part-time GLOBO employees to take up to four weeks of paid leave in a 12-month period for qualifying life events such as the birth of a child, adoption, and caring for sick family members.

In addition to providing paid leave, GLOBO expanded employee compensation packages to offer greater healthcare network coverage, 100% employer-paid premium plans, employer HSA contributions, and complimentary life insurance, all while significantly reducing costs for employees.

In June, we hosted our very first Language Access Summit, a milestone event that featured a series of webinars designed to help healthcare professionals learn how to limit communication barriers, increase efficiencies and provide better experiences.

Launched our New Website

In the spirit of creating better experiences, last year we launched our fully redesigned website. The new design is easy to navigate and provides helpful resources for users – whether you are already a GLOBO customer or if you are interested in learning more about our services.

In 2023, GLOBO will continue to provide the most innovative solutions in the language services industry in service of our vision of a future without language barriers.
