Interpreting for Live Global Events: The Pope's Visit to the U.S.

This time last year, people from over 150 countries around the world gathered to welcome Pope Francis to the United States for the 2015 World Meeting of Families celebration. For this historic event, GLOBO and its team of interpreters were charged with interpreting Pope Francis’ remarks into several different languages — English, Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese and Vietnamese  for the worldwide broadcast.

Planning and production for one of the largest and highest-profile events in U.S. history was no small feat. To celebrate the one year anniversary of Pope Francis' visit to the United States, here's a look at how we did it...
